Yeah, once the snow is gone, I'm riding..... but I cant see the snow going for at least 2 months ! :(

CJ, what color r6 you got ? I used to see a red one on my way to work (cottonwood heights) around 72nd south, aknowledged each other. (mines the LE black with red flames)

Mine is blue. I live down in South Jordan and work in the Sandy automall so it probably wasnt me

I ride up from Spanish Fork to Cottonwood, I may have seen you, but most of the time I am trying to avoid all the dumbass drivers out there.

Parleys Canyon is a good ride, as is Provo Canyon, maybe we could do some kind of loop stopping off in Heber or somewhere....
I havent been riding that long, so not really sure on great biking routes

i know some pretty good roads to ride :) around orem provo then the canyons as well all know them, but yeah we all should get together if we get a good day soon and go for a ride, i still need to break in my bike

The Nebo loop is sick. It goes up through Nephi and comes out in Payson, and its a fun mountain ride with really good twisties. It is only about 130 miles round trip from SLC so even less from Spanish Fork. Logan canyon on the way up to Bear lake is way fun, and pretty. There is the ride to Morgan which goes through emmigration canyon, and its only about 70 miles. There are soo many good places to ride up here. I could go on for days.

Yeah I've DRIVEN the Nebo loop, love it.... I'm up for riding it.
The Alpine Loops (american fork canyon to Sundance, Provo Canyon) is ok, its a little tight in spots and there are a lot of trucks that fly up round there - but otherwise really cool.

I live down in Spanish Fork, and work up in Cottonwood Heights, quite the ride... when its cold :)
My only real concern is the state of the roads, so many realllllyyy bad pot holes I'm thinking it might be a bad idea.....

Yeah spanish fork is a long way out. And I understand the potholes they suck! All the snow this year really effected the quality of our roads which already wasnt the best.

yeah winter screwed the roads bad this year. I ended up not riding today, was -3 this morning when I left (7:30am) but now its really nice out, makes me regret my choice :(

Hey everybody, I am another fellow Utah rider up in Logan. I tend to go up to Bear Lake a lot, but I want to try some new rides this season. The ride down to SLC on the freeway sucks with all of the construction still going on, but I still get down there a few times during the summer. I had no idea there was this many of us from Utah on the board.

Went for a ride up big cottonwood yesterday at lunch with a buddy, was awesome.
I cant always get out for lunch though, and thats only when I ride into work.

I usually go for a ride *Somewhere* most weekends. Met up with CJr (a few posts up) a couple of weeks ago which was fun. Must do it again maybe with a few more.

Tomorrow and Sunday are looking good, I'm gonna be out and about - probably do a loop from Provo Canyon up to Heber, through Park City (grab something to eat) then through Parleys, over into SLC - shoot up Big Cottonwood Canyon then head back down to Utah County.

How is Big Cottonwood Martin? I havent been up there lately. Any water on the road?

hey man, we only went up a third of the way (during lunch) a week ago there was only one little section of water - but there was some salt and crap on the roads so didnt get to really get into it. Was hoping for it to be better this week. I should be around tomorrow if you want to go out for a bit, I got a few things to do, but can get out for a hour or two.

Im going to Wendover tonight and my bike is all pulled apart because I was changing sprockets. I might throw the back wheel on tomorrow and go for a cruise in the evening! Ill probably be back from Wendover around 3 oclock.

I'm down in Utah County. FYI Nebo loop is still closed, went up anyway ... around 7000 there was lots of snow, but still ridable, 8000 completely covered in snow, so had to head back. Gonna check Alpine loop tomorrow, I fear the same deal though.

Went for a ride through east canyon yesterday what a gorgeous ride! That was a blast. About 175 miles round trip if you take the full loop it was great. There are some excellent corners in there.

I was planning on going to the superbike race on Sunday... but something has come up.. as of 5 min ago :( so not too sure now. Plus trying to save for a new car = $60 for a ticket is a little steep.

two of my friends went to the meet and greet party on Thursday night, they said it was pretty good, they got buzzed up on the zantrax 3 they were giving everyone..... better than cocain they said LOL (they were joking... maybe)

Sorry I missed ya Martin. Ive been sick Tuesday and Wednesday. Riding Sunday though! Maybe we can plan something. I took an excellent ride in Wolf Creek Pass I might do that one again.

No worries man. I think my chain is loose, it doesnt really give much but pulling away in first I'm hearing a couple of clicks..... I gotta look into this more.

I was out last weekend for a ride. I just moved over to Lehi. Is there anywhere in SL Valley/UT Valley with a dyno? I want to get my bike tuned once I put on a new exhaust.

I went to cycle house on 42nd and state street in salt lake. they did a great job. just make sure you tell them to only do what you ask for, because they will fix other stuff with out calling you. lol they put new pads on for me without asking. I really needed them so i wasnt mad at all.
