hey guys i have been practicing wheelies... not very good yet but i have that dream to be able to pop it up and ride down the street when i see a hot chick next to me!! gotta impress the ladies... well anyways i was wondering if when ridding wheelies my engine will get enough oil.... or will it all slide back past the oil pick up??? i have heard about stunters adding another quart.... does anyone know what im supposed to do ?? i have a 2007 R6 thanks

If you are starting to wheelie, your bike will under no circumstances, starve for oil, now if your up for a block or two quite frequently, you might want to look into a rear pickup, so when your up, the oil can be still be supplied. I honestly wouldnt worry about it until your up for quite some time or reving high poss. rev limiter.

now im not sure if this is right or not....but i think the R6 doesnt have that problem...i know its either honda or Gixxers that have that oil problem...and to agree with Script...even if your just learning you wont have a problem

should be fine... i rock it all the time, both models. i just keep my oil topped off, and it is more than ok.

yep, gixxer's are the one's that get oil starved...once you get better and if you start to worry about it still, give it an extra half qaurt to stop your worry's

Watch it, one slip and your looking at some major damage and fines. The ticket is huge if you get caught in the pigs crosshairs with that stunt.

I have ridden with a stunt crew for a while, they do most of the highway stunts on top of that, and the r6 is actually good for wheelies because you don't have that oil problem, but yes if you get caught doing a wheelie out on the road you will get a ticket and heafty fines, trust me we have been to court for lots of the guys and their tickets. So my advice is if you are not 150% sure of where you are at and who is around just don't do it! And keep practicing! :YEA
