Hello everyone, im about to purchase a 2001 R6. I am just curious if anyone knows the 1/4 time for a stock 2001 R6. Ive searched but couldnt really find what i was looking for. Thanks in advance.

it has the 01 R6 at 10.75 in a quarter mile

It depends on the riders size, experience and track elevation. Completely stock i say high 10's to low 11's.

Yamaha claimed 11.3 w/ a professional rider on the 03/04 r6. I was able to pull off an 11.4 bone stock. I would say the 01 is in the range of 11.5 or 11.6

if ur still interested in buying it heres a little something about the older r6.....i have an 02 r6 lowerd in the front, bored and stroked over to a 728cc....and an aggressive cam.....i ran five 1/8 miles passes and two 1/4 mile passes runs today at the track....all the runs were against my buddys stock 01 r-6........older r6's have a tendency to have worn out valves espesially if it is beat to death by the previous owner yamaha says its an oiling problem..so know who the previous owner is and if it was beat to hell..i myself had the head and carbs rebuilt....don't forget that 99-02 are carburated....good and bad.....carb jets equal power....but u have the dredded carb lag......i managed to pull a 9.99 1/4 mile and my buddys stock r-6's best time was an 11.99

Necro bump: I run 11.4 @ 125 consistently with 2.0 flat 60fts. Bone stock bike.
