I have a 07 R6S candy red and black, looking to stripe the wheel but am having a hard time finding the right color. Any ideas or anyone with the same color find anything good for it? Thanks a lot

I have the same color and year and I ordered the red progrip rim tape from motomummy.com. It matches the bike almost perfect in the daytime, and at night it has a fluorescent brighter red when headlights hit it.

Can you post a pic if possible? When I look at that tape I am guessing we aren't thinking of the same color red. That is way to bright to match. Mine is a dark red and black and if that tape like you say is a bright red it won't do.

For one day I had red on the left side...and white on the right. Didn't feel right with both colors.

Thanks a lot for the pics, looks good! I was actually just outside striping them with some silver just to see what it would look like and it looks pretty cool. I also like the white, great contrast.

What's the difficulty level in replacing the rim tape? as simple as starting at one point and slowly rolling the bike foward, or do you get as detailed as taking the tire completely off and re-striping it?

I didn't take my wheels off. That may make it easier though. Too much trouble for me.

i bought the tape at my local cycle gear store. $7.00

What is the stripe width? I used vinyl pinstripes and did my own. I used 1/8 in I tried 1/4in but it didnt look right so what width are the actual wheel stripes?
