I want to make some changes to my stock R6,
What would you say are the top 5 mod for the 2002 R6?
I have an after market can, which I would put at number 1,
my next change will be a screen or new rear end, what are your top 5 mods? :dog

1. Can
2. Frame sliders
3. Fender eliminator
4. Flushmounts
5. Good Sticky rubber

Then if you've still got any money.

6. Steering Damper
7. Jet kit
8. Brake lines
9. Upgrade suspension
10. Rearsets
11. New screen
12. Full exhaust system
13. Wave brake rotors
14. Install R1 upside down forks

Can't think of too many more at the moment.

I'm sure I'll come up with a couple more, just give me time.

Barsliders - saves clutch and brake levers

questions:

Is there any purpose for fender eliminator besides the way it looks?

Do any of you know of any good windscreens that deflect the wind better than the stock screen? I heard double bubbles work good.

Fender eliminators are pretty much only cosmetic, but in my opinion they are almost a necessity. I just don't like the factory fender.

I've also heard double bubbles are good for wind deflection.

With screens, just check the fit. I've heard quite a few don't fit as well as the original.

If you want to see the Pivot Kit installed, check out my product review in the Product Review Section (oddly enough!). I have a link to the picture of my pivot kit on my bike.

Have a look at the Dynomite website - they make a nice carbon eliminator.
