I had a wasp fly in my helmet! I had to stop int eh middle of the road to get it out. I ended up bending my glasses all to hell too.

SPEAKING OF MULES... I heard a story once of a new yorker (sorry to anyone out there) that went hunting in the midwest or there abouts, and was hunting in an area where there were 'wild mules'. He shot one thinkin it was a mule deer. The officers which checked his tags and all before he left we laughin their asses (No pun intended) off. They let him go and he kept it. I'm pretty sure they didn't tell him any different either :mrgreen:

Someone in the new york area prolly had a nice meal of ass.

Been lucky. Haven't hit anything yet (knock on wood). Have had some bees and beetles and big ol bugs like that splatter on my visor but then again who hasn't!

The only thing I've hit was a small swarm of bees. Didn't know what it was until I hit them, then it was like being hit with small pellets. had to stop straight after to make sure none had gotten into my suit or helmet. Had to brush off quite a few dead ones

I had a car throw a rock and I watched it crack my windscreen going about 85 or so. Everything was in slow motion and i couldn't move out the way.

I haven't hit anything of big nature yet, but it's odd when you lock eyes with like a big beetle (or something of that nature), and then you see it and follow it until it splatters on your visor. It freaks the crap out of me... like twenty feet ahead, you'll see it, lock on it, and then like swerve your head for no reason, lol...

I thought you said you hit a tree? those are usually big and they are a prt of nature. Wouldn't that make them of a big nature?

I was riding in town with my wife on the back. A little baby rabbit ran out in the road. It ran past me but turned around just intime for me to run square over it.

Wife says, "What was that?"

I said, "I'm not telling you."

When I got back to the house and checked the bike out, I didnt see any damage (night time)

Looking at the bike the next day told a different sotry...

When i ran over the rabbit...imagine stepping on a ketchup packet

On my old bike I hit a squirrel attempting to cross the road! He ran into my boot and knocked himself out for a sec or 2. It was funny as hell 'coz he spun like a boxer that got hit with a round house right!!! LOL....

I hit a small bird without really knowing about it. My wife noticed it before I did. She says to me "Whats that :?: " OOPS! Here there are feathers caught in my lower ferring below the radiater and blood and feathers stuck down along the side :throwup Then thinking back I remembered a bird flying across my path and swooping down while I was full throttle topping out 3rd or 4rth gear doing around 100mph! All I could hear was the wind :gas Once I cleaned it all up there was no damage or marks :mrgreen: Stupid bird :hump

i know this wouldnt qualify as hitting something, but this will cost me $280 when i get home. last weekend i picked up a screw in my tire. i recently got my bike never got the odometer past 3 digits, still under a hundred miles. i thought about pluggin the tire, but i am still debating. i cant really push her to the ragged edge anyway until she is broken in. i still got over 900 miles to go. i figure a plug should hold me over till she is broken in. then i could spend the money on new rubber for her. what do you guys think?

i dont know if this counts but i was taking a left turn at a light with my buddy right beside me on his bike so i had to keep my sharp inside line. i caught the toe of my boot on the corner of the curb on the inside. luckily i was wearing my combat boots and it didnt mess up my ankle or anything but it gave me a little scare.

i hit a dog while riding my old r6, i didnt lay it down though. But i seen my buddy drive throught a bobwire fence on our dirtbike one, that ****ed him up.

Dude, what happens when you do that? Tell some details if you would, I always wander what hitting those country wire fences is all about. I try to avoid it... I mean, did he cut a limb off or something?

Riding two up with my wife, going up to Steamboat. Cruising through the canyon at night, and I hit something pretty big with my leg. Thought it was kinda strange to hit a bird in the middle of night.

Go another few minutes and see this black thing, way too big to be a bug, hit the front of the bike. It tumbles up over the screen and hits me on the shoulder and then proceeds to smack my wife right in the faceshield.

I hear a little scream, and slow down so I can talk to her without all the wind noise.

It was a friggin' bat.

That has to be the strangest thing I have ever run into with the bike.

I hit a hummingbird the other day and it bounced up and landed in my buddy's lap who was riding his bike behind me. I think I will mount it in the wall.

it pry was the crazist thing i have ever seen luckely he went the the part where u unhook the wire to get into the field so it broke easy if he was over just one post he would have pry cut his head off....he had a big gash on his neck almost all the way through, and mostely major road rash after that they had to scrub is back with a wire brush to get the rock out, they kept him in the hospitle over night just to make sure he was ok because he dosn't remember anything at all about that day even now.
