Initial Impression
Pulling this helmet out of the box and drooling for a moment, the first thing I noticed was how great the fit and finish was on this helmet. The attention to detail was terrific. The stitching of the suede material on the bottom of the helmet is perfect. It's so smooth.

The graphics on this helmet jump right out at you. They are so crisp and definied and so vivid. I definitely believe at the moment AGV, at least in there Rossi Replica line, have some of the best graphics on the market.

On Your Head
The first thing you'll notice upon slipping the AGV on is how tight in it is to get down over your ears. But once past that point it just holds your heads and becomes one with it. It fits my head great, no chewing gum in this one. Head shape plays an important role. I'm told that this helmet works well for people that have Arai heads. Smaller and rounder than long and oval. My helmet is a large but it is very small for a large helmet so size accordingly. Of course your best bet is to try them on before buy but that wasn't an option for me. There are no AGV deals around here and no one with AGV helmets.
Got Quiet?
The amount of air this helmet moves through it is amazing. And it's also amaizng just how quiet it is for the amount of airflow it has. The day the helmet arrived I, of course, went for a cruise around to see how it felt on while driving. It's was great, I thought. Of course I was just cruising around town. LET'S IT THE HIGHWAY!, I said to myself. Afterall that's where wind noise is the most annoying. I come up the on-ramp... hammer down... jam through a couple gears... thinking i'm not traveling that fast because all I hear is a gentle rush of wind and the engine of the bike, I look down... 220kph. I was impressed. With my old helmet, which I should mention was just a piece of junk $125 helmet. It had decent airflow but at 60mph it sounded as if you were hanging off the back of a 747. Not anymore. Quiet is thy name.
No Fogged Shields
The shield on this lid has a film on the inside that keeps the shield from fogging up. It works great! Even in 32F degree riding your hot breathe won't fog the shield. Pretty cool. It also comes with a breathe guard which is easy to install.
On a side note, it also has a removable/washable lining and cheek pads.
Long Trips
I haven't been on anything more than a 3 hour on the seat at a time jount but the helmet is super comfy the whole time. My biggest problem comes not from the helmet fittting properly but the amount of air moving through it, I believe, is dehydrating me. Leaving me with a headache and chapped lips after 2.5-3 hour non-stop riding. :-\
I can't wait till next year to get this baby on again and do some more riding.
