I have a buddy who just sanded and rattle canned his rims on his bike and they look incredible.

Here is the stuff that he bought to do it with. He said he only needed one can and he put on 3 coats. 1 coat of clear. So far the paint seems to be holding up.

Yeah... it won't be for another week or so, but I will and post up some pics.

make sure he rebalances his wheels when hes all done. guarantee they will be out of whack after that.

Haha not too sure why i love seeing results of peoples rattle can skills i would like to see some pics, i rattle caned my car and its wheels, now a year and a half later its just now fading in some areas. does the job i guess haha

im watching this... i want to see what this paint looks like on the bike too.. ive been looking for a good gold to do my wheels with

:jackedIt gets my goat so bad that for 09 they come stock with the gold. I did it because it was something I always wanted to do. A few weeks later.... its stock!!

i would say buy mine but i noticed you live in NJ there harder to find nowadays and also hella expensive to fix, im happier on a bike anyway

If I new they were going to be this hard to find again I would have keeped it. I sold it back in 94 for 3k and you cant find one now for under 4k.
