you mean like in the doppler shift? that's why a car with its horn going sounds like one note coming towards you and another note when its going away from you. does funny things with the wave length of the note. I supposed that could happen with the color of ones bike since colors are reflected light waves that your eye percieves as color.

The doppler effect is observable for light, too. That's how we know the universe is expanding, because of the 'red-shift' of egressing galaxies. A doppler shift on the order of 700nm to 400nm (i.e. red to blue) would require speeds approaching those of light itself. So, it would seem that as I tend to do whenever the discussion turns scientific, I have just completely contradicted myself and deserve a beyotch-slap :comp .... I would have to be moving TOWARD a red object to shift it blue... jeeze... I can be so dense sometimes. :poke
