...from getting a ticket the other night. Long story short, i got in a fender bender the other night after a good snow storm and hit a parked car on a small, ice covered 2 lane side street - shit happens and thank god for full coverage otherwise i'd be selling the bike. Well, in the end of it all, the officer gives me a "special hazards" ticket for $88 and 3 points. after i leave, i look at the ticket and realize that the personal info is mine, but the vehicle info doesn't match my audi. After staring at it, i realize he put the info of my motorcycle in the vehicle description somehow. Now, i'm still going to pay insurance and make sure the other person's car gets fixed cause i did hit it, but maybe this will get the ticket thrown out and atleast save me 3 points on my liscense.

What do you all think? :confused:

**oh, pics of my front bumper below. the only damage was to the bumper and the plastic fan right behind it, but the body shop still quoted me at over $2,000**:ooh

:stupic most cops don't know the difference between vehicles if they didn't have their little computer telling them what it was. I've had people and even cops guess my bike was a honda or a kawi. because I don't have any decals on it anymore :screwy

there used to be a whole thread on how to get out of a ticket. It requires you to write a letter and get the cops story thrown out because if he can't write the correct info down, hes not a crediable witness. and it gets his testomony thrown out. however, seeing as you hit a car, it could be more diffacult. use the search button and find that thread, good luck on getting out of the ticket, it doesn't look good.

At least your alright, and thats what matters, accidents happen.

yep thrown out.... fight it, however you cannot use insurance with your audi then .... cause the court is going to think you could not have been out riding a motorcycle in the snow.....
