I liked the lights alot - I'm kinda pissed that last year I got a plain tail light intergrater - no fancy crap.

R6RoadWarrior - so who talked you into getting one?

get some pics up or bring the bike around once it's in.

Okay, i'm offically stoked. My UFO light just got delivered to the back door (the house's not mine) :moon I'm outtie in like 5mins from work. Time to roll back the sleeves and get to work on the bike so I can ride tomorrow. I hope the installation goes smoothly. If anyone has any advice or lesson's learned on the install of UFO lights then please post as i will be checking before i get started. thanks in advance.

you know...with my recent install of the undertail, and the fact that my tails are glued in with Liquid Nails....I am guessing I am stuck with the stock light! haha :hammer

yeah, the only hard part was separating the clear lense from the black back plate with a utility knife. i didn't exactly want a trip to the ER for modifying my bike. also, the 2 wire splices they gave in the kit were gimp and didn't even break the wire coating (aka no continutity and no signal). so i busted out my electrical tools and spliced it myself. small details and stuff dragged the install to about 2 1/2 hrs total. but again, it was worth it.

did this kit come with a new board with LEDs or did u use the stock ones :?:

That is a shame, I just emailed Paras of VFX and I inquired how come they never had the "Extreme Kit" similar to the R1 or the Kawasaki.
The reason is for LED visibility and makes the animation somewhat impossible....but I think UFO lights broke that barrier!

ya i emailed em and asked if they would and they said they werent. i think we should clue em in on the fact that it can be done and made to lok good. maybe then i could have the extreme thing to put on my bike.

it came with a new led board b/c the connection between the control box and the new board consists of two five pin connectors and there's some new control circuits on the board.

the kit came with a new led circuit board that had the same leds in the same locations but more control chips and a new connection to the new control box.
