I'm looking for a fender eliminator where you won't have to cut any of the plastic and where you'll get a license plate light. Also, one where you have the option of keeping the stock rear turn signals. I know I'm asking for a lot, but does anyone have any ideas other than making my own

VFX also has this optional bracket to mount the stockers or aftermarket ones. "SIDE BRACKETS For those who do not have a LED taillight kit with turn signal capability, VFX will be offering SIDE BRACKETS to allow for optional mounting of sleek aftermarket turn signals onto the paddles of the Pivot kit R6. - Side Brackets VFX Part No. VSPK-004-FB; Available August 2003"

I bought one from VXF and it was real easy to install. I used a after market blinker with the blinker conversion that VFX offers. One of the great things about the VFX insead of all the other conversions is that you have a tag Light that comes with the kit, In Oklahoma City area all the POLICE down here are always looking for another reason to stop me and with the tag light that comes with this kit they will have to look for another reason to stop me.

I know I'm asking for a lot, but does anyone have any ideas other than making my own I used a dremel and it went pretty well... If you want to see some pictures let me know. What do you want out of a fender eliminator (given you want to keep the stock turn signals)?

I went with the one from R&R cycles (find them on ebay, much cheaper). Since I do not ride at night, I do not need a plate light; but you probably could fab something up to work, or use the Lite-N-Boltz..

'01 R6 I made a template from the stock fender mounting holes and used some tin snips, dremel and a piece of sheet metal. it came out pretty nice kinda like the ones from competition werkes. I used some LP carbon clear lense turn signals, they were pretty bright too. Not sure if u would want to make your own but it saved me the money so i did. Now i changed my mind and wanted to clean up the undertail even more so I took that all off and mounted the license plate under battery tray and bent it down just a bit so its readable. I got some 10 mm amber LED bolts and mounted 2 where the last 2 undertail fasteners went and also 2 more on the rear pass. footpegs facing straight back. they are pretty damn bright at night but not that good in the day. It puts a nice spot of light on the ground at night and the back 2 shine straight back so they are much brighter. It looks really being able to see the whole undertail and the plate is still readable and able to mount a plate light with ease if needed. I can post a pic once i find my darn digital cam charger.
