2nd Annual Women of the West (WoW) Ladies Cup Series


Excited to announce the 2nd Annual Women of the West (WoW) Ladies Cup Series - this is set for both grids of the New Mexico's SMRI Formula Femme and Colorado's MRA Ladies of the Rockies (LoR) racing together to compete in a one of a kind Ladies Only Cup Regional Championship!!!

The Women of the West series will consist of a total of 4 rounds
SMRI will host 2 rounds and the MRA will host 2 rounds.

The 2009 WoW Series is currently scheduled for:

Round One: SMRI - April 18th-19th Sandia Motorspeedway

Round Two: MRA - June 6th -7th High Plains Raceway

Round Three: MRA - July 11th -12th PPIR

Round Four: SMRI - Sept 12th -13th AHRMA – Sandia Classic
(*Alternate date for Round 4 may be held during SMRI race #7 Oct 17th-18th)

Would like to thank both MRA and SMRI boards, which approved this Regional Series between the ladies of Formula Femme and the LoR to compete together, participating in a ladies championship within each of our respective race series!!!!!

This truly is a great opportunity to increase awareness and participation for both clubs and the sport!!!! Congratulations Ladies!!!
