Ok, it been way too long to have a stock bike (2 weeks), and I have some bar ends for my bike. I have tried to put them on pushed and pushed, no luck.. Anyone have an idea for getting them on???

The rubber is holding me back, I thought of putting some lube on them and giving it another go, but I thought I'd see if anyone has an easier method.

Bar ends or grips? The bar ends just screw in, but the grips require a little finesse.

hey, i had the same problem. they are probably the universal ones like ive got. i spent literally over an hour trying to push those bastards in. Eventually i got smart enough to just use some lube. i put a drop of WD-40 on the rubber, spread it around and those things went in like butta'. i wouldnt put too much lube, just in case, but a little will definitely do the trick.

I just used some hair spray instead of WD-40. Same with grips. :jump

My bar ends had rubber on them, and I just screwed them on...the rubber fit into the grooves. Not too dif***ult, but not easy. Grips were a lot harder.

Does anyone have a clean stock bar end from 03-04 R6 that i can get from them. :?:
