Looks like a good concept. loki1313 04-21-2004, 08:31 AM never seen one before now. pretty cool idea but i think ill stick with cleanin and lubin the chain the oldfashioned way. RockyR6 04-21-2004, 08:40 AM I personally think it is overkill, but I know some IBA riders who use them. tjpearson 05-09-2004, 01:34 PM I'm just about to fit one next week, taking a week off work to do it though. I've fitted a seat cowl so got rid off my rear pegs and it looks as though the despenser will sit where the u-lock housing goes but the piping is a worry, looks easy to balls up if not carefull. I'm only fitting it cos got Afam gold chain and don't want that covered in thick grease. People I've spoken to speak highly of them! 05-09-2004, 01:44 PM I never so them before. Good idea, but i wouldnt buy it would just get in the way wether I was working on the bike and might get in the way when I am trying to put my knee down. drhodes 05-10-2004, 03:45 AM I think it is a bit much... :poke NeuralOveride 05-10-2004, 06:33 AM I didn't there there was such a thing as a bit much...when it comes to my R6 anyway!! :cheers
TJ, let me know how you like, and if the unit is in the way at all. Thanks! tjpearson 05-11-2004, 05:29 AM Just sent a message to drhodes to teach him, go to the site 'scottoiler .co.uk' it does work, I promise. I thought TiVo was a bit much till I got it, can't live without it now. Come on you know us Brits invent everything and then you Yanks steal it, only joking, your the only friends we've got now! NeuralOveride 05-11-2004, 06:29 AM We have friends?? Don't worry... we'll get around to bombing you soon enough... :-)
It does look very convienient... And as a lazy American, I'm all about convienence.
And oh... ReplayTV is the way to go... Tivo is for people under 6 and over 60... :cheers trbo823 08-06-2004, 12:07 AM pretty nice product | |
