Whats up !

Ok, Im about to sound real stupid but Im new to the scene and havent finished reading the owners manual yet.

Question 1: There is a guage on the bottom left of the bike near your cluth foot that reads empty / full, what guage is that ?? In discovering it yesterday I realized mine is completly empty and I have been riding around like that for about 1 week. Is that coolent ?? antifreeze ??

Question 2: At what temperature does the bike overheat or should I get worried. At idel the bike reads anywhere from 200-217 degrees, when on the run I range from 180-193, is this normal ? when is it to high ?

Sorry for the 2 question just a concerned R6 owner, Im sure you understand.

:stupic

Question 1. Yes it is coolant bottle & should be in between the full empty marks. Maybe top up with distilled/demineralised water or if its too low you may need to flush & replace.

Question 2. Heres what it says in the manual in regard to temperatures.
