Alright, as for me, im quite new to riding bikes.
I recently got a 2005 R6 with 12k miles.
I want to change/check all the fluids on the bike before i get to riding it much.
Today i changed the oil and oil filter.
I know i have to do the brake fluid and bleed the lines, also the anti freeze....but where are the resivours?? Is the round bottle next to my windsheild where i add the brake fluid into??
Also i think i may have found the anti freeze resivoir. Is it on the left lower side of the bike? do i add there?
Are there any other fluids i need to change?

I know i sound like a complete noob but i dont feel like doing something wrong to the bike. I might as well ask the people who know what they are doing and have experience with it. Any help is appreciated:)

Your front brake fluid reservoir is attached to your handlebar on the right side. Your rear one should be on the right hand side as well behind and below your seat.

Yeah there is the coolant resivoir on the left side by your oil filter/front sprocket cover. There is also a drain on the right side on the water pump. There is a copper gasket on the proper bolt if you want to flush it.

1. to drain the radiator, drain plug on right side of bike, open radiator cap, let water run, flush, fill, burp, good to go. resevoir is for excess.

2. brake fluid, change to steel braided lines while your at it

3. get a service manual, it will do you wonders

Whats the gasket for/does it need to be replaced if you flush it?

Highly recommend it. It is a crush style copper washer. Make sure you get a metric one from the hardware store if you don't feel like dishing out the cash for one from the dealer.
You could try re-using it... you have a 50/50 chance if it'll hold or if it'll leak. For $.15(from a hardware store) take the cheap insurance.
