hmm most of the guys at Summit Point on the 1000's have the same attitude J does.... they turn their nose up at the 600's, until they see that our laps are only a second or two short.... in some cases(not mine) are better.

That's been the case since FZR600's were passing FZR1000's there. I've passed many a bigger bike there, but I never noticed the attitude you speak of...

yeah, maybe it was a bad group, but not much respect of the "sport and skill" and more of engine size when i went. And by group there were about 4 guys on 1000's that were walking around like they had something to show.... a second better on a 2 miles track.. Ohh did i mention like 15k in mods they had?? Just wish there was less "r1 people are smarter/ more skilled/ better" and more of, hey we all ride, all of our bikes have advantages. It is the gsxr squid mentality. I have seen plenty of r6's here in No VA with little to not gear riding wheelies down 66. Not all gsxrs are squid equally as not all r1 riders are cool or worth talking to. And i have been on the cbr forum, good group of people there.

You will never catch me acting that way toward an R6 rider. If you ride, you're good in my book.

im not impressed...i think the r6 looks alot better than the r1, thats why i got the 6...that and it was 2k cheaper, i wish the new r1 looked better, but i know it performs like no other

I just took a dump... while reading this post. Thanks.. Made it pass a little easier. Nice try with "Cliffs" on long island..... you dont get out much do you? upstate and western NY might, but not the island. Love how all the pics were of the front. Chicken strips come stock with that r1???

I just wanted to say, I have No attidude towards Riders on lesser CC bikes.
Thats rediculous, and I posted that In my OP becasue i knew it would
get you guys going.. ( JUST AS IT DID ) Hence the LOl in my 1st post.

I ride with a few R6's a 750 suzuki and a Ninja 636 Regulary.
Pretty much every day and we dont desriminate to any rider for whatever reason.

But On our more spirited Mountain Valley Rides..
we are usually 10-15 deep on R1's With all members of the R1-F...
And I have even Invited any Local R6-F member to join us on those Rides as Well.. So again... :321

Anyway I've been on the R1-Forum For many years and have developed alot as a rider and Self mechanic because of it and I thank them alot.
So If you didnt get the Joke, Keep Thinking that , I think Im better than you All. Thats Fine with me... :*tongue

Hey J... are you going to get a 6? Just rode mine on the track for the first time (actually, it's the first time I've ridden it period). Lot's of fun. Kinda miss the straightline speed on the front stretch at VIR, but I'm giving up 15 mph for a few seconds and carrying more speed everywhere. I'm glad I built it.
