hey guys i did a little searching on this and I really didn't find what I was looking for. so I have a 06 r6 with stock gearing I'm having a heck of a time getting it to come up. I have seen a few go -1+2 to help 6000 rpm lag but I was wondering what you recommend to be able to fairly easily bounce up in second this is not a stunt bike I don't want to loose highway and higher speed riding ability any helpo would be greatly apperciated adn yes I know that bouncing up isn't the best method. thank you for your help

im about to do -1+2 and from what i hear with that setup it's pretty easy to pull it up in second

If you don't want to loose a lot of top end, just go with -1 in the front.

how much do you weigh? unless there is something wrong with your bike it will come up. what gear are you trying to yank it up? its not real necessary for you to go up in the back or down in the front if you just wanna wheelie. it takes practice and by gearing the bike down your just gonna hurt yourself if you cant do a wheelie now it makes your throttle very sensitive and you'll loop if you don't cover the brake and it doesn't sound like your that advanced yet. Now if you insist on still changing your sprocket go down 1 in the front its the same as going +3 in the back be careful have fun

yes I am inexperienced the only reason I have been looking at this is all my friends learned after regearing and what little yes I will say little I have tried I'm not really having any luck. I have tried both 1 and 2 haven't had luck in either gear just little lifts nothing worth while. and I only weigh 175 i have been looking at 1 down in the front

You wont loose that much top end with -1/+2 set up, bike will do about 155. Grab a 520 chain while your at it.
