they're a brand of rails that you can put on your bike that offer WAAY more protection than frame sliders.


I'm in the market soon for some rails so I'm also waiting on the pics. :D

I keep whoring my picture out, but i just love the way these railz look and protect! :D I added the 3" inch extenders on the front and back for some extra protection. Although these add some weight to your bike, they're a nice way to keep your investment looking good.

Nope, there placed in front of your legs so there's no contact what so ever. Lots of clearance!

Where'd you get em + how much?
I got them from tobefast.com (http://www.tobefast.com/sliders-spools-stands-orderby-up-c-63435-p-2-f-64091.html), our forum Admin's site. $142 for the railz and $80 for the front/$60 for the back 3" extenders. These are optional. The railz comes with a little extender that looks like a mushroom.

I never received this little extender because i think i ordered the 3" extenders and they guessed i would never use the little one. The 3" extenders just gives you more clearance between the ground and your bike.

Since these are made out of metal, they are made for stunting and not really for racing. Ive heard people say metal sliders tend to dig into the ground during a lowside, maybe causing it to flip. But i dont know if this is true...not yet atleast! :)

are the little mushroom heads (god that sounds bad) that come stock with the rails metal or a composite material?

I never received them, but on the picture, they look like metal as well. Dont know for sure though!

last question... do you have to cut the plastics for the Powers rails?

yes the mushrooms are metal and the 3inch ext does cause ur bike to flip i would not run them and no you dont have to cut ur fairings

Yes, the mushrooom sliders are also made of aluminum. you can also get them through lockhart.

its suppose to fold but ive seen lowsides where they dont and if u hit gravel,grass,exc it doesnt but theres always an if about evrything i just feel safer with the mushroom head

yeah I'll probably stick with the mushroom head and my regular swingarm spools.. I think I'm sold on that brand though!
