Eh I just installed some Motovation no-cut frame sliders on my 08 r6. I gotta say, these are no question the best quality sliders pit there. Better than shogun and all those other brands for sure. I am very happy with them. But now on to my question... Should I invest in any more sliders?(fork sliders, clutch protectors, etc) Are they as important as the frame sliders?
Thanks.

hard to say they are better without giving a reason? shogun, motovation, lsl, r&g, etc are all on par with each other. I would love to hear someone try and validate why one is better then another. that's like arguing akra vs leo or arai vs shoei.

As for sliders though you can get carried away with all the extra protection things they sell. it's all a safeguard remember and designed to save money. you can get sliders, case covers, swingarm axle sliders, fork sliders, clutch slider, bar ends, and spend 400 dollars on it and if you cartwheel your bike it's 400 out the door. Best bet imo is just sliders, bar ends, spools. Not a huge investment and if you crash and don't total the bike normally they save you money in the long run.

Fact is that bikes do crash and do get destroyed. it's safeguard that you pay for hope and hope you never have to use it, but if you do you hope the sliders pay off. keep it somewhat reasonably priced and stick with what is known to work (sliders, bar ends, spools are multipurpose for a bike stand so why not those to). Other then that I wouldn't recommend anything else to be honest. that's just my .02 though.
