A buddy of mine just bought a used r6. The bike came with a sprocket conversion of 49/15. The thing is, the guy that sold him the bike ordered a chain, and never got it. so he just kept the stock on. when riding it seems fine till you accelerate hard, and then u feel the chain slip once in a while. I know this cant be good for the bike, but neither of us know anything about chains and sprocket conversions. Can anyone suggest a chain, or even the right size???? thanks in advance.. :throwup

That is NOT the chain slipping. It's the transmission. I feel for your friend. I know this problem all too well. Look for my thread "SOLUTION:...".

The best chains on the market are the DID ERV series. The ERV2 is the best, and would not install any other chain on a liter bike. For a 600, the ERV will work just fine, and is a little cheaper.
