    if you buy a stock 05 header, you will need to:
    1. Drill out the flanges to make the bolts line up correctly to mount the header to the motor.
    2. Dremel/shave down the inside of fairings to give proper clearance for header.
    3. Use header wrap to protect fairings from heat.
    4. Possibly cut down end of header to fit whatever slip on you want to use.
    5. Buy coupler that connects end of header to slip on. (seen in pic 5 of my thread)

    seems like a lot of work, but an 05 header will give you close to the same performance as an MJS or aftermarket header. all it takes is patience and persistence. if you have anymore questions, feel free to ask!
