Hello all Yamaha owners, First post.

New 2004 Yamaha R6 (13k) Owner. This is a great forum and thank you all for the information, i have done lots of research on this site and fix everything so far.

The only thing i couldn't figure out was would a " 02 Yamaha YZF R6 Exhaust Header Pipes S29" Fit on my 2004? One of the pipes is cracked currently makes a really loud noise, wanted to replace it. Couldn't figure it out

Aloha!!!!!

Why don't you take it to an exhaust shop and have them weld your header? This would be a simpler solution.

He is lazy that's all it would help if you remove them yourself and take them to a muffler shop from the picture it looks like the original weld is where it has cracked which is an easy fix as long as the flange isn't cracked then you would have issue with it sitting flush if its not done correctly. Approximate price to get that welded is about $20 and a beer

Ok this caught my eye and i looked into it and thats sweet my question is and i know its probably a dumb one because the 05 headers fit the 07 will this setup work on my 08? i am gettin a power camander 5 so not worried bout the tuning issue it will be solved, but will the 05 headers work for my 08, i do have the yoshi r-55 slip on and i want the cat box gone and i dont want to spend another 500 on the full yoshi system so this could save me alot of money, so can anyone tell me if this setup will work on my 08?
