Like somebody else mentioned, the 600rr looks dated about 10 yrs back. If they were trying to go for a retro look, they got it. Looks meh to me.
The new 636 looks tits though. Sat on one at a local dealership and it felt like I was in the bike, not on the bike. Bet it would make a good track bike.
I think the 500 is interesting, if not maybe a bit too heavy; the 600RR looks like ass IMO, the front end looks ridiculous, I like the CB1100, and it looks like Honda took too many cues from Harley and Victory with the new 'Wing.
600 looks good. i dunno if someone else said this but the styling almost looks older than the 07-12 style, to me. I mean, it looks nice but it almost looks like a progression off of the 03-06 RR more than the 07-12. Either way, nice bike.
Just wait... Once these bikes have been out for 6 months and people have had time to stare at them for a while you'll start to hear about how catchy and "retro" they look, and how "it's really grown on them" and the next thing you know they're the coolest thing out there.

I agree. Most members on 600rr.net are saying the same thing as everyone here. The front end is ugly, the older version is better, etc. They said the same thing when the 07 600rr pics were released. IMO they did go back in time a little with the fairing style (tail vents, tail light, side fairings, etc) but I would still love to have one.
So...Im no scientist but a 6.25% reduction of drag...isn't that a lot???
