2007 R6 Power Commander

I have a 2007 R6 with I believe the only mechanical upgrade being a Leovince exhaust on it. Pretty sure just a slip on but I am about 90% mechanically retarded so not sure lol. Bought it used like this. Anyway the question is would it be worth buying a power commander and what benifits would that give me.
Forgive me if there is a thread else where I have seen some similiar things but nothing really answered my question. It does make a popping sound when I let off the throttle.

If it has a header or mid pipe (just tubes under there) then yes you need a PCV. Don't get a PCIII either, get the PCV.

Read my FAQ or at least the cliff notes
You said to get the PCV rather than PCIII. I've been told that the PC is bike specific and they don't make one for an 07. That being said what PC would I purchase than?

Power commander or ECM flash that was tuned for your exhaust should smooth things out for you and give you more power. If you have a modified header, I'm surprised you haven't noticed any dead spots yet.

Right around 15mph it I hold it steady she tends to jerk like I'm opening and closing the throttle. Any ideas?
That's how a bike without a tune reacts. There is a small chance it could be something else, but without the bike being tuned properly for the exhaust you will have weird quirks like that.

Sounds like it needs some tweaking, if you email me your map I'll take a look at it. AutoTune is a great system, but it needs setup right to work. I have several good sections on the AutoTune in my FAQ that you should read. An ECU flash to disable the low load map is a good idea as well.
