Quick note to everyone rebuilding/replacing cams or engines. After the rebuild i *assumed* that you could put the tensioner back in. Follow the manual...lol...I chewed through a chain guide. Haven't broke the engine in yet so I'm hoping that the residual plastic should wash into the pan before i need to change the oil after the rebuild.

to get back on subject :)

Installed the tensioner per factory spec. Now I think i just need to get a new mechanical....When its installed per the manual, you can hear quite a bit of chatter and it doesn't run the greatest. When i back the mounting bolts out a bit to click it down tighter, its too tight (you can hear a whiring noise when cranking) but it runs great and there's no chatter.
