How tall and how much do you weigh? And you can also state what suspension set-up you have that fits you best.

I'm 6' 2" and weigh 175lbs, all stock set up right now..haven't gotten to mess with it yet.

140? Damn that is skinny...

I'm 6'2 200lbs.

Running stock settings on stock suspension, but will tune before summer.

Used to ride street/track/race with stock suspension, now upgraded to Elka piston kit, ohlins springs, custom race mods and Elka rear shock

Joey did real well. Jake was there primarily to test so he was on spec tires and fuel, but still did a :31 flat. Starting at the back of the 2nd wave he still pulled off a 3rd and 7th (.3 sec between 7th and 4th) in the 6 lap races. He was happy.

Yeah, I saw his posts on facebook to that effect. I didnt realize he was on a spec tire with spec fuel though. And not bad starting from the second wave.... Should be a good year in DSB. Kinda stoked Ill actually get to watch the kid on TV.

Haha ^, best answer so far.

It's not too hard, more just trial and error. Figure out your sag, how much the bike dampens from your weight., and then start adjusting from there on how you want the front and backend to feel.

6'1" 140 lbs normal clothes. Still looking for a suit :lmao

As far as riding position, it is comfortable to me. I sat on the gsxr, kawi, and honda all different years and the R6 was the most comfortable to me. The gsxr seat was too low, the honda seat was uncomfortable cause it's flat. I just don't see how you shorter guys touch the ground lol.

6'1" and 195lbs of pure muscle (believe that...) :flex: :sing :screwy

Running stock suspension and had it set by a Yamaha tech. He said I'm right at the threshold of being too big for stock suspension but I should be fine.
