Pics taken today in the Bay area. 2012 Street Triple R. Put 50 mils on her over the brige and all over the town. It's my older brother's. Werkes pipe is loud.

2010 triumph is a triumph

2013 triumph is a miserable fail

I like everything about it except the front end. They should've just made the 2012 and earlier front end look better (If that's even possible)

Why go from Projectors to regular Halogen? Bulky mirrors compared to the previous gen, and the overly large 3rd-eye is unappealing to me.

This is probably the best bike of the year. It has great features and has options that none of the other bikes can touch. I believe for 1,400 more you can get the bike with REAL superbike OHLINS forks and matching rear shock with BREMBO monoblocks! Not to mention the bike is already priced to sell.

Another thing not really known is that Yamaha is also looking into three cylinder engine designs: http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/649/1.../Yamaha-Inline-Triple-Crossplane-Concept.aspx

If I were in the market for a new street machine the Triumph would be the one.
