I have tried to install a smoked Integrated tail light everything went smoothly until I reassembled the fairings. Then I realized the rear only flashed on 1 side non stop it wouldn't turn off and the other turn signal would not work. I switched the connector then the same problem in reverse. To make matter worse the 6 Phillip head plastic caps wont unbolt to remove the upper-tail fairing. I already broke 1. I am just disgusted with myself right now. I would appreciate any ideas
Problem solved I was connecting the entire wrong things I didnt connect the black & grey plastic things I was plugging the metal connectors and leaving the plastic connectors free just a newbie messing up. I love the light
just installed it on my 2012 a few weeks ago. pretty simple install, a true plug and play.. i did do some research on how to remove the old taillight before i actually bought it... you can find alot of good info on here and on youtube. some advise, if you are going to install a new tailight, buy a FE, if your going to change that as well... its easier to install both at the same time.
Cool, seems easy enough. Just tight quarters, tiny trunk space.
