'07 - O2 sensor with PC ?

Hi guys, quick question.

I've got a track only '07 R6 w/ Power Commander, and full Graves exhaust. Currently there is an O2 sensor threaded into the exhaust. After removing the tank for some other work, i notice that it is unplugged.

Should it be unplugged with the Graves and proper PC setting ?

Also, i am putting the stock exhaust on temporarily for a trip to Laguna in a couple weeks. Should i run the O2 with the stock exhaust ? and what about the valve thingy in the muffler ? Leave that active or not ?

I was told by some Yamaha guys to leave the actuator unplugged so the valve stayed open, and just leave my PC setting the same as with the Graves system.

Thoughts ?

I leave my O2 unplugged with my akra. I feel it would kind of try to work against the PC if its left plugged in.

If your putting your stock exhaust back on I would re-connect the exup valve and the O2 sensor, and if your doing that you may as well put a zero map on the PC.

Why are you putting the stock exhaust back on anyway?

+1 to running a zero map. Otherwise you'll be running rich and fat and the bike could feel tame, boggy etc.

The 02 sensor really only makes corrections within a narrow range, at lower RPM and lower throttle %'s. It will do no good on the track.

Hopefully you have the OEM air filter with restrictor, cause the intake noise of the bike without can come close to the limit!

If you're running the OEM can, I'd connect the EXUP and all that to let it do it's job. Take advantage of the low end power it helps create!
