...is killing me, I can't settle on one. Looking at agv, arai, shoei and every other bucket that's on the market. After hours and hours everything is really looking the same with nothing jumping out at me design wise.

Whats your favorite design that is out there for sale somewhere...

I had the same problemo picking a new helmet. I searched and waited for all of 2012 until finally Riders Discount had a helmet blowout for Black Friday week.

my advice is once you see it and your jaw drops, you'll know. spesh if it's on sale.

find the one that fits properly, has good venting, is lightweight and is snell rated. after that, if there's more than one contender, it's cheapest price. who gives a shit what design is on the outside?

set two otherwise identical helmets down. one full price cuz it's got some fancy design on it, the other is 50% off because it's pink with care bears and flowers and shit on it. THAT'S the one i'd get. i don't have to look at the outside of it when i'm riding. plus, the thought of passing someone at the track with the gayest helmet ever made would be hilarious...

get a good look at the front, top and sides of this helmet

....you'll never have an opportunity to see them again while your bike is in gear :) hahaha kidding man, all the variables you mentioned are taken into account

enjoy the upgrade...lol besides head checks agv is better in every way imo

That's what I keep hearing. I think the Bell Carbons are awesome with the exception of wind noise so I'll probably think the AGV is like heaven and tits once i put it on my noggin.

bell carbon is awesome and it has the best air flow you can get...when you go from wearing the gp tech to the carbon youre gong to be like wtf with all the wind going through your helmet lol

wind noise is about the same with the gp tech noise wise(i use headphones so i could care less)

I don't have a carbon, but my bell star (m.behavin) is one of the most comfortable I've ever worn. I would buy another bell in a heartbeat. I'm strictly street though, not sure how they hold up on track days.

Should be spring 2013 I guess. That helmet looks boss status IMO. The specs from a video review I saw were pretty functional. I dont ride tracks but they seem like improvements.

Well if the agv gp-tech sits at around $799 and it was the top of the line, the Pista will sit at around $999.

Just my guess.

Are there any shallow helmets? All the helmets I find are too deep and when I try to do a full tuck since I have a shorter neck due to my traps it's really hard to look up so I can't go into a full tuck.

Any shallow helmets out there, i've seen some out there where the riders jaw is basically hanging out from under the helmet. I don't want that of course, but just curious.

That's what I'm going for, and the shitty part is that the Mediums fit fine at first and then 1000 miles later...it's like is this even the same helmet I purchased?!

After seeing a few videos of Rossi putting his helmet on...I started to wonder if i should be shoving it on as he is as well.
