new mods on my 05 raven include a halo kit & HID's from bkmoto, a LED Light kit from motorcycleledlights.com, and front flasher relays like the ones shown in this video -->
...I'm basically rookie status with wiring (mostly due to intimidation). Are these mods difficult to figure out myself or should I leave it for a shop?
Like everyone else said. I don't know much about electrical, but I'm currently doing the work myself on my projectors/halos. I've practically built my whole bike from this forum and youtube. DIY and if you get stuck, just ask somebody. I haven't paid anyone to work on my bike yet...
its just time to roll up the sleeves and learn something new!
...I have another question for everyone
I'm thinking about blacking out my foot controls and rear passenger peg sets. I've heard powder coating can get expensive since they're such small items and its more of a hassle to the powder coater. Would it be a terrible idea to try and use paint instead? my fear is it will rub and chip and that would really not be good to have to mess with it again... I like to do it right the first time and forget about it
Check my build thread and see what I did. But if you want the best in durability powdercoat them. That's the only way you can say you did it right the first time.
1. DIY, especially since this forum has hella knowledge in it :flex:
2. PC for the durability, but it definitely can still chip/get worn down.
