Bringing Jersey to Cali!!! :YEA

OK, so I am officially coming to Cali at the end of May for my sister's fiance's bachelor party. San Diego/Mission Beach (whatever that is).

Someone please tell me Mission Beach isn't the Rehobeth Beach of the West coast.

Not only that, if you're from that area, or close to San Diego, lemme know WTF I'm in for.

I may bring my own meatballs with me or ship out some Italian food cause I'm under the impression all I can get is tacos from street vendors in Cali. :laugh

Seriously though, I don't know if I can do it cause I understand the food and culture is very health oriented and I'm not very sexy shaped, and I eat WTFE I want and it's always good food. I'm not sure WTF to do with a $30 smoothie made from organic fruits and shit that looks like food which is made of Tofu.

Help me figure out my trip, etc. I would LOVE to come a couple days early and meetup with some customers, contacts and friends, so lemme know what's up.

Can I rent a bike there? Are there any TD's I can attend on a rented bike? LMFAO? 5/30-6/4 is the dates. I'd try and come earlier, like Tuesday to Tuesday or something. Maybe rent a bike and head down to Mullholland?

Someone please clue me in here. I've already got serious anxiety over this really far flight and trip.

Do I have to pump my own gas?

AWWWWWW YEAAAAAHH!!! In-n-out is a must. So is Pinks. You'll have homemade tacos at my house:pimp. That's breakfast lunch and dinner for day 1:laugh. If you like pancakes we can go to this place on sunset on day 2 called the Griddle Cafe. They have these bomb ass oreo pancakes bigger than your head. You're going back to Jerz with an obstructed colon (see burger below) and an extra 15lbs :lmao I think TrackDaz has TD at chuckwalla friday 5/31 and sat 6/1. Forum TD weekend??!?!? If Shawn has a bike for you then I'll join you for TD, otherwise you can use mine and I'll just fap uhhh i mean hang out :look:

Edit: TrackDaz will be at chuckwalla 5/31-6/2

SICK bro!! :YEA

I just looked and San Diego is super close to Mexico, and it looks like Mullholland isn't far from there either or the Rock Store too. I GOTTA make it out there. :fact Rented bike or rented fast car. Anything. I wanna see all the shit you guys are always talkin bout. I've never had the chance to get out that way and need to plan quick so they don't book me a plane ticket if I'm coming in earlier.

SHit bro, sounds like a great idea, till you read a $2000 deposit on the 848, and a $3000 deposit on the Diavel... That would be cool as shit though. I'd honestly love to take their Hypermotard out for a couple days. Those things look like a fcukin blast!

Beat me to it! I'm planning on a getting a Ninja 250 to race this year, so I should have a spare bike around you can borrow if Shawn flakes out. :) There's also a place that rents track bikes (or street bikes) that shows up at some of the track days I do. If you're really set on renting, let me know and I'll track them down.

Mullholland (aka The Snake) is up near LA. It'll be about 3 hours to get there from you'll be. A-Man lives up in that direction too.

There's not really good Italian out here. Don't believe anyone who tells you otherwise. Pizza is downright awful. There's great Asian food, burgers, and of course, Mexican.

Adam's been talking about doing a Cali trip forever - that time frame would actually be pretty good for me I think. You're definitely welcome to come crash on some couch / air mattress at my place in LA if you want. :fact

You'll love San Diego. If you do rent a bike and don't want to head to Mulholland Drive, there's always Palomar Mountain that is about 45 minutes from San Diego. Mulholland sounds cool and I want to ride it some day, but from the R1 Forum, some locals out that way stay away from there cause there's too many knuckleheads thinking it's their personal track... also there's rnickeymouse and his famous YouTube page with that infamous corner where a lot of people bin it on Mulholland.

There's a lot to do out there, if you're looking for clubs/bars, downtown is where it's at. There are some clubs/bars down in Mission Beach and Pacific Beach, but a difference scene from the city life. There's strip clubs down by the airport and some by the Sports Arena. I don't think there are any that are fully nude, just topless. That's what I recall from when I was stationed there and from the last couple times I was out there in 08 or 09.

Don't know of too many places to eat, since I don't eat out much but I do recommend you go to Dick's Last Resort if you haven't been to one already. That's in downtown in the Gas Lamp district.

A couple other joints in downtown: Rock Bottom, Whiskey Girl, are some restaurant/bar/night club deals too.

As for TJ, stay away from there. Like somebody mentioned, the whole cartel thing going on; those fools aren't playing around. I recently heard that going from the states to Canada you need your passport so they might've tightened up a bit and going to Mexico might be the same. TJ is one of them joints where you go when you're younger cause you can't drink at clubs in the states. Still had some good times out there though.

:laugh this made me el oh el :fact

Also, if I go out in Cali, can I wear white t-shirt, jeans and sneakers anywhere? That's basically my uniform. Crisp ****** (or stained) and some jeans and kicks. I don't own board shorts or flip flops. I wear sneakers and socks to the beach. I won't swim in the ocean either probably cause then the sand will be in my toe nails, etc. :lmao :lmao
:bowroll You crack me up man...
