For the life of me, I cannot find a gas tank cover that only covers the front part of the tank, I have a small dent on the tank and want a Yamaha blue cover but can only find cloth or carbon fiber. If anyone has seen these on a website or ebay or something, please PM me the link.

I may just be completely retarded or theyre all hiding from me :D

so you want something to cover up a dent in your tank?! that's seriously ghetto, dude. here's my advice:

1) get your tank repaired/repainted
2) get a new tank
3) rock out with the dent and don't worry about it

for the love of god, don't just cover it up...

that was in no way helpful. since obviously it must matter what I'm doing it for, I am covering it up while I wait for my custom paint to be mixed and I am more concerned with buying other parts right now than a new gas tank. the cover is just so there is no paint flaking and rust during this time. But the "why" is none of your concern, the question was where can I get one since I can't find one.

It isn't defacing, it is preserving it from rust and weathering when I ride until I can get the bike resprayed. I ride my bike everyday and don't have the ability to go without it for the next few weeks so I would rather cover up the dent so it isnt exposed until I can get it in to my painter. I take care of my bikes but I restore/rebuild them so typically when I get them, they arent in perfect condition and they have cosmetic stuff wrong. The dent is getting popped out when it gets painted, I would rather not drop $200-$500 for a new tank if I can pay $60 for a cover to use until it gets painted.

Best way to protect your tank from rust, is to grind off any rust that is there (CAREFUL with gas in the tank, I'd drain it first depending on ...), prime it, and hit it with touch-up paint. Then it's nicely sealed until you can get it fixed/resprayed. Also you can then cover it with whatever you want without risking trapping moisture against the bare metal.

For the life of me, I cannot find a gas tank cover that only covers the front part of the tank, ...
I've never seen a cover that covers just the front of the tank (they may exist, IDK). I think most people that buy a tank cover do so to protect the rear and sides of the tank from wear, so a cover for just the front would be unusual.
