I know this subject has bee covered a bunch of times but I can't find anaything recent.

I heard that Motodynamic have updated some of their components, and doubtless CustomeLed have too.

My question is, does anyone know which the CURRENT best integrated tail light is to get?

I'm not stuck on either of those brands.. I just want the best one for the best price.

Please post if you've had experience, (especially if you've seen and RECENT models, and even more especially if you've seen more than one brand in action).. I'd prefer not to have a bunch of fanboys for their *insert brandname here* jumping up and down about how theirs is the best.

Thanks!

Hey thanks for the comments guys.. they're a heck of a lot cheaper than customleds, so I went ahead and bought one from Amazon.

I hope they're as bright as anything else on the market. I know some of the really cheap ones are way too dull and hard to see. Motodynamics seems to be the only one in that $70 range that can compete with CustomLeds and other expensive ones..

I had the same debate a few months ago, and ended up choosing the customLED. My decision was based on side by side comparisons between the motodynamic and customLED models. There are videos online of the comparison, but I was fortunate enough to know of 2 other riders, who have the brands listed above, and had purchased them recently.

What I found was the customLED was both significantly brighter, and easier to see the turn signal.

I also liked the blaster x function, which basically acts as hazard lights.

Fit & finish were excellent with both brands.

I had a rock or something chip my motodynamic tail light last week. I think it was from when the construction workers were working on the streets and didn't clean up well when they were finished. My light is one of the new ones I believe, and I love it... they are very bright. I ordered another one to replace it.. will be putting it on today. Can't beat it for the money.

It's not sequential but it's definitely way brighter than stock and the signals are very noticeable.Unlike the small Fender eliminator turn signals which can be overshadowed by the sun from behind and cause confusion for other drivers here is a pic of blinker

I recently received my MotoDynamic for the 09 R6... and it is pure sex. Not as bright as the BlasterX, but I am more impressed with it for the price compared to the BlasterX. MotoDynamic +1.

I went with the Motodynamic and never looked back. Also installed the TST Industried LED Flasher Relay, so the blink rate was set to factory specs. Never had a problem with the setup, and it's bright enough for me. The stop alert is such a good feature for bikes, it really grabs a cager's attention ;)

I went with motodynamics and absolutely live it. It has the stop flash alert feature plus the sequential turn signals. It's extremely bright compared to clear alternatives. In the video that was posted a few posts above with the blaster x vs. clear alternatives, the motodynamics light is just as bright if not brighter than the blaster x light.

This a little off topic but,I didnt want to sart a whole new thred to ask this Question. I have hotbodies flushmount turnsignals. I realy dont think they are visable enough. I was wondering if anyone has flushmount that also function as running lights? I've looked for them online and I can't find any flushmounts that hook into the running light circut.

SO happy with MotoD.. damn thing is BRIGHT! I know how frustrating and confusing it is when you're researching, trying to find a light.. I did so much research before I decided on Motodynamics and I still wasnt convinced. Was worried it would not be bright enough.

Well, if you're where I was, trying to decide what to get, trust me. Just get MotoD.. Amazon sells em for $70, free shipping. They're super bright, super easy to install, fit just like the OEM, and are perfect. So much cheaper than CustomLed or some other brands.. I could not be happier.

I went with the motodyamic tail and proton flush mounts for the front. I tossed between Custom LED and Motodynamics for a while and didn't come across anything that convinced me the Custom LED was worth the extra hundred bucks. I'm very happy with the Motodynamics. I did buy my flasher relay through Custom LED though.

What fender eliminator did you guys use whith these? I just want one that holds the licence plate since i will have the sequential. Also if i have a fender eliminator will the tail light serve as a licence plate light also
PS. just wondering, has anyone ever been stopped by the police becasue of this set up?

You would need to pick up an ebay or cheap tag holder with a build in light. It's very easy to wire up. I actually did it before i got my bike inspected in Maryland & it failed inspection secondary to not having factory lights. So I had to put OEM lights back on today.
