The "BS" of RotM

To be honest, looks like all the RotM's are awarded to members who effectively spend the most money on their bikes. My six does not have too many mods but I've worked (and am still working) my ass off to afford each and every precious modification, no matter how "small" or "little" the mod is --- and I'm sure most of you can sympathize because many of you, like me, seem like students (I'm a grad. student).

Even if someone spends a lot of time on a bike it really doesn't compare to someone who spends a lot of money on his or her bike --- wouldn't you agree? Sorrry for ranting but just wanted to be the ball-breaker who pointed out the obvious flaw of RotM's.

Good job with pointing out the obvious. No one is going to award a ride of the month to so moron with a bone stock 2009 r6 that he just waxed with the reflectors and stock fender on :dunce. Now to the guy that does the nice tie in with custom colors, hids, rearsets, and keen selection of aftermarket parts is more than likely to fit the bill of RIDE OF THE MONTH. Anymore obvious observations will probably be handled in the same fashion. Good Luck.

Re: The "BS" of RotM

Last i heard, RoTM was awarded to bikes that stood out. Money and time together makes a bike that stands out. Unless you get mods for free, time alone doesnt cut it!

Re: The "BS" of RotM

That's like getting pissed about show cars making it on the covers of magazines. They're not just gonna put a bone stone g35 on the cover, they want to show what can be done with that car -------- WHICH REQUIRES $$$$$$$$$

it's all about originality... unfortunately, more times than not, it takes a good amount of money to make something truly original. it's just the nature of the beast.

Re: The "BS" of RotM

the reality is the people vote on ROTM so it's not biased. IMO its as fair as it gets...
