Best License plat bracket? : Yamaha R6 : R6 Forum

Ok I bought a bracket off ebay that came with LED turn signals and an LED license plate light... I bought it basicly because of the turn signals since I live on a base BUT now that I have it it looks really "cluncky" and big...

So in your guy's opinion which is the best bracket that looks sleek and clean?

As far as the turn signal thing I think I may buy on of the tails that has blinks or w.e.

If you look closely you can see it under my girls foot in my avatar. It's completely visible from a cops perspective sitting in a car though. Never had a hint of problems from the LEO's. Made by bikelights i believe.

I just bought a simple bracket off eBay to go along with my integrated tail. No blinkers/plate light or anything but visible to the police and I like it. Serves it's purpose.

I think the best one to go with is the one by Grave Motorsports..they are pretty strong..and fit just right..unlike the cheap ones from ebay...

my bracket was free...remove the 2 clips underneath your seat, bend your plate (be sure the visibility is there still) place to clips through top holes in plate and back into their original spot. you can see in my avatar where it's located

It's the same setup as rmerchant3's location, but for Free Ninety-Nine

Not one problem with cops either.

2 L brackets from lowes and 4 allen bolts/nuts. 3 or 4 dollars tops and you can put the plate pretty much anywhere you want. no need for plate lights, if a cop is behind you at night his headlights will light up your plate.

after getting tired dealing with the LEO's, I splurged and got a VFX kit. I admit it's pricey but it illuminates my plate very well and looks really good IMO. I also like that it is on a pivot. Haven't had any problems with LEO's since and get many more compliments than the cheaper things I have tried.
