I am the last person to talk about body position, mine is horrible but it works for me, like I tell people all the time, find what works for you...take a little from everyone.

Re: Track/street tires

Based on some reviews and a good price point I decided to go with the Bridgestone BT-003rs. Supposedly pretty comparable to the power one. Will be testing them out at grattan raceway next weekend!

Also going to have to work on that body positioning.

Follow up with how you like the Stones!

I've ran the 2ct's and currently the Q2s. IMO, Q2 > 2ct. The 003RS is the next set I think I may run or possibly the Power Pures.

Re: Track/street tires

I had Q2's on my CBR and the 2ct's are what i currently have on my R6. From my experience the Q2's seemed to be a little softer than the 2ct's just based on how they looked coming off the track.

From my understanding the power pures are about the same class tire as the Q2's. The bt-003rs is comparable to the power ones and the pirelli supercorsa sp. The price on the stones is awesome compared to the other tires in it's class. Really hoping they are as good as they're supposed to be.

2cts are.. Blah.. They're coming off as soon as this season is done.

Aren't a very confidence inspiring tire. On the track, anyway.

What pressure are you running and how's your suspension setup? I ran through a set and thought they were just fine. I've run Q2s and Pures and felt they were all pretty close.

Also ran a set of the Pirelli SBK Pros for all of 2 sessions before they ended up getting oiled, and they were a significant step up from the street tires.
