Well, didnt really know what to title the thread, but does anyone know of any exhausts that i can put on my 2012 r6 thats some what cheap but yet good?

Keep hearing loud pipes save lives from a UK friend of mine, and ya, don't really like the way the stock exhaust looks.

If you guys could provide a couple links and what not, I'd appreciate it.

Slip on preferably, I aint that mechanically gifted so ya... wouldnt want a full exhaust system because knowing me I'd probably **** up and mess something up if I had to remove it all lol.

You need to do some reading in my FAQ.

A slip-on won't do anything to make the bike louder. If you want your bike louder, you need a mid-pipe or header. (Covered in the FAQ link above.)

Nope, the header contains a muffler and three cats.

That image is the old MJS finish, which has held up very well for me. However the new finish is much much better:

So its not something so simple huh ( for a person new to anything to do with bikes lol.) Thanks for the info man, if anything I'll have my friends do it for me, .

Well I saw a video on youtube about a dude who added a shorty to his R6 (

) and well I figured if I could just make mine sound like that for the $60 that he said the shorty was worth ,then hell ya, but I guess it takes alot more then just slipping it on to make it sound bad ass.

I really dont know how much im hoping to spend, i guess 100-200s?

Do you have an R6 or R6S? There is a big difference. The bike in the video above is either a 2005 or older R6, or a 2006+ R6S. Those are completely different, you can put a slip-on on those and make them loud.
