$5 quickshifter with PC3 USB

I would love to install a quickshifter on my R6, unfortunately I can't find any of the software or parts designed for the 2001 model I have. It only dates back to 2003 models. Is there a reason why I can't use the quickshifter parts on my 01? All I see that's need is the pc3 USB panel and other parts...

Yes, the reason that you can't install this quickshifter is because it requires a Power Commander III. You can't get this for your bike because this is only good for bikes with fuel injection. Your bike is carbureted. This quickshifter is designed to have the power commander cut fuel momentarily, allowing the transmission to be temporarily unloaded. There is really no way to do this on a carbureted system.
