There is a alignment mark on the crank gear and another on the engine case. Line them up and you're good.

New problem...

After everything is put together, I can only turn the engine so far, and it stops, will not turn.

But, turns just fine, when I loosen off the exhaust cam caps a bit.

Dude... set motor to tdc.. and zero out the cams. Use a torque wrench on the cam caps. Then insert the tensioner.

Motor should spin more or less freely without the plugs.


If its getting stuck... your pistons are hitting the valves somewhere
