This one never did me wrong... Other then needing ANOTHER transfer case in just over a year... Had one come apart on I-95 when I was headed to Baltimore... It literally exploded... Now, this one that replaced it, is starting down the same road, with a bit of grinding... Idk wtf would cause this again, especially so soon. Had a Jeep dealership do all the work because I was stuck, out of town, on a road trip... Cost my a bundle... and now, it's happening all over again... Course this time I'll be swapping them out myself. But at $1400 bucks, it's not a cheap fix... even doing the work myself...
I think you're proving Johnny's point right there man. That's not the kind of thing you should have to do twice in near succession.
My cousin had Grand Cherokee that needed an engine rebuild at like 90k miles. I was under the impression that ever since Chrysler took them over, the Jeep brand has been notoriously bad as far as reliability.
How was that remotely racist? It's a simple ...They copied an X series to the T, BMW takes them to court but the Chinese gov says it looks nothing alike (even though they are pretty much identical)...So I'm sure they make Toyo's too, and I'm sure you could get them....

Not trying to prove, or dis-prove anyone... It's got over 100K miles... But with the issues stated, I find myself at a crossroad. Whether to scrap this, sell it for what I can get, and put money into a new ride(used of course, beater most likely) or should I shell out the cash in hopes that this will get me through college, which is really all I need... Sucks trying to make a decision like this... Because if I do dump $1400, and then have other "major" issues, I'm screwed... But I also don't want to buy another vehicle which may be a problem down the line as well... Not interested in buying a new car until I can really afford it, when I'm done with school, and find a job... So you see, I'm a bit torn in which direction to head...
