my neighbor's up there with centerpoint - he's a lineman. hoping y'all get back up and running relatively quickly. looks like the damage wasn't quite as severe as ike or katrina, but still devastating nonetheless. 'canes suck... but i'd still rather take that than a big earthquake. those things freak me out BIG TIME.

Thinking about the people who lost everything and still dont have power in this freezing cold weather.... And to make it worst we are expecting heavy rain tomorrow.

I hope he wasn't up by me bro. It's a straight up 10 degree difference from up here in the mountains to the shore. Last night it was 23 here.

Rookie. That doorway stuff is old school. The new hotness is getting under heavy furnitures and holding onto one of the legs. (I'm actually serious. They do earthquake preparedness stuff at work semi regularly, and that's what they say to do.)

In reality, if the ground is shaking hard enough to collapse the building you're in, there's no ****ing way you're going to be able to move around competently enough to get to a doorway or duck underneath some furniture.

It is however a great excuse to maul an attractive coworker when the little ones happen.
