Not stator or RR, now what? '01 R6

After completely disregarding my history class to find which page your electrical problem started on, i finally found it haha. Where can I find the male and female quick connectors for an early model R6, because as you can see I need both for RR and Stator. I'd like to see if its my connections before i move on.

I get em at the auto parts store. dielectric grease too.

You can also get a replacement plug for the bike too online from a 3rd party website. I think this site if you look hard enough

I've decided rather than getting the harness for the Stator im just gonna solder the wire to go to the RR. Just came from my local Yamaha dealer and their guy say soldering it wont hurt anything. Im gonna pray that its the connections and not something else because after that I'm stumped. What gauge wire did you use when re-did your wring to the RR? Btw I appreciate the help man.

I used something that was just a bit larger gauge that I had on hand. I keep a lot of this stuff on hand. Soldering to the rectifier isn't a great idea IMO. You can easily drip the solder in there. It's hella tight quarters. I would solder new wire on there to extend it a bit and definitely run the spade connectors and dielectric grease in them to prevent corrosion. I am not sure if you meant you were gonna solder the wires directly to the rectifier spades or not. Just clearing that up!

Nah soldering to the actual RR is Chuck Norris defusing a bomb level kinda stuff haha. I meant i was going to cut out the female and male stator harness plugs and solder(which looked corroded) them together so i could have the three stator wires plug directly into the RR- which i did last night. AND that was the exact problem. I was sweating bullets when I went to disconnect the positive battery terminal to see if the the bike would stay charged- which it did. Needless to say this was followed by several Tiger Woods level fist pumps because after this experiment I was out of ideas lol.
Do you know of any ways to prevent either the stator or the RR from burning up, cause while I now have firm grasp of how to change and inspect both, i sure as hell don't wanna do it again haha. Also where do you have your RR mounted because I now have mine zip tied around the battery box....
