Hotness. I want to work up to doing a century. Did 30 miles on Saturday and I need to start either eating more before I go out, or packing some food with me. Right around the 2 hour mark I run out of carbs and my body basically tells me to go **** myself. The last half hour was pretty miserable.

It's the cheapest setup that I liked and had all the things I was looking for (straight grips, and dics brakes). They have a 7.4 FX Disc that I'm also looking at but it's goes for 8hundo and not sure if I want to spend that much...Also, the other bikes have the curved bars, which not sure I want.
Damn, you crazy mofo; I'd die from a 100miles...I'd probably die from 30 right now...ahaha
If there's any options get you up to Shimano 105 drive train, but possibly ditch disk brakes or shifter, I would seriously check them out. Not qutie sure what the appeal of disk brakes are. Regular bike brakes are essentially disk brakes, you're just using the rim as your rotor. Unless you're spending beaucoup bucks and getting a hydraulic setup, I would think it's going to feel pretty much the same.

I've heard that a good thing to do is pack a couple bananas in your jersey for occasions like that.
I'm starting a new Respect... the quick reply is pissing me off.
