Occasionally my check engine light will come on right after my 03 r6 starts and will stay on for about ten mins then it shuts off I have a new stator and the trouble code is an electrical code I think 46. Right before the light goes off the head lights get brighter and when I'd does go off they go back to normal. I was thinking regulator/rectifier but was told by many sources that when the regulator/rectifier goes bad there is no warning.
I want to put some hid lights on the bike but don't want to install them and have them blow because of a fluctuation in power. Can someone please help me figure this out so I can get my mistress back on the road!!!
