Maybe so, but all it takes is for it to pass here in Cali and it moves on from there... This has been demonstrated repeatedly...
I do appreciate that you can have a civilized political conversation with someone of differing view though.
Thanks. I try really fcuking hard to understand where people are coming from, and be open to the fact that my ideas are not the best, or there's something I'm just missing.
There's a lot of people out there with a lot of different backgrounds and it'd be nice if we could put together a country where we can all live the lifestyle we want without stepping on each other's toes too much.

Maybe/probably not (was mostly said just jest), however, have you heard of Senator Leland Yee (D) and his SB249 little gift? That's mostly what I'm worried about....
I also don't like his stance (or statements) on reinstating the AW ban; talking "O-man"...
I'm not familiar with that. I'll look it up and check it out. Despite not owning a gun, and thinking the idea of me personally owning a firearm for self defense is really silly - I'm tremendously pro-gun. I'm really big on assuming people will be responsible and giving the freedom to make their own decisions until they do something that proves they're incapable of doing so.
I refuse to be one of those assholes who's all for making everything they're personally against illegal, and then whine their ass of when someone tries to pass a law to prevent them from doing something they think is important.
Big B has seemed to be pretty quiet about doing any gun control stuff thus far, hopefully that continues. My only fear is that because he doesn't have to worry about re-election next term anymore, he's going to try to push through a bunch of crazy shit that is not on par with what he's been saying all this previous term.

People own for different reasons; I own for a few, but mostly sport, however, I will say that the ability to stop the King of England and his Red Coats from entering my dwelling - tops the list...
That's sort of a scary thought...
Speaking of guns "and things"; you going to make it out to Burro Canyon for the private range time I booked?
