I guess doubling the national deficit isnt considered "any worse", huh? Im sure our children will agree when our problems are their problems.
Like I said I wasn't happy with either candidate but the vagueness and lack of detail kept me from voting for Romney I don't discount your view but his flip flopping on certain things left me with plenty of questions on whether I want to endure a "offensive playbook" midway thru the season. I live in California where we give welfare to illegals. I work for the government in a welfare office and see the scams and bullshyt fraud that goes on with American Citizens taking because they can, rather than use the programs as they were intended. Why would someone go and get a job when the government will pay them to sit on their ass! Our fore-fathers would shyt themselves if they were to know where this nation has gone. Only when the people rise up to rid themselves of the lying, cheating scum we call our branches of government will we be free to advance ourselves a nation.

Not all government is bad government, and I fail to see how it is the fault of the government that degenerates abuse the system. If you mean that they allow it to happen, then maybe, but then, what do you propose that we do? Incarcerate everyone who cheats welfare or their taxes? Better start building prisons. Or maybe we fine them? At that point, aren't we levying a fine on someone who doesnt have the means to pay, but will likely have the time to fight the penalty, tying up more government time and money in remedies/litigation?
I do agree that fundamental change is needed in government, and it needs to not be a career. I would endorse the Warren Buffet view of political reform without question, but to wholly write off government is not the answer.

Mother = Lawyer $$$
Father = Doctor $$$
Sister 18 years old making $3500 = child's provider
This is a low income program yet this family is being paid 3,500 per month to watch their own kid because the "doctor states he needs 24 hour care" and the state just allows it.
I guess I'm just tired of working 2 jobs to support my family while others take advantage of the system and bankrupt our state and nation. (citizens and political officials!)

I absolutely agree, and that sort of thing should carry IMMENSE tax penalties if you're caught. I agree that the system, in general, is well meaning but broken. That's why I referenced the Warren Buffet political reforms.
