Going out on a limb here.... I think it's bent because once the bike fell over it puts pressure on the stand from the side, which its not meant to handle that way. Was it a hot day? It only takes a few minutes on hot pavement for your stand to bury itself in there. Also the reason why your bike fell to that side. Oil spots from cars are another thing that make the pavement real soft, but I don't see any evidence of that from your pic. But who knows maybe a really fat chic just sat on your bike!
then whats the possible cause for my kickstand to bend like that?
Someone tried stealing the bike....rolled it backwards while you had the steering locked.....lost control of the bike while polling it , scraped the kickstand hard then dropped it. . All what I explained above could take 2 seconds
what the hell? The only thing I can tell you is that the kick stand is designed to support 400lbs weight. I have been doing the "kick stand spin" every time I park my bike at home/work for years and mine is still in great shape.
